Looking to do a one week volunteer programme in Africa? While we do encourage our volunteers to stay as long as they can, we do organise Africa volunteering from a duration of one week onwards. If you’re concerned about what kind of impact you can really make in a week, read our blog that explains how we approach short-term volunteering.
Where to Volunteer in Africa
Africa is an incredibly diverse continent, with awe-inspiring natural wonders and a rich cultural heritage. We do volunteer work in Africa in several countries, so we’ll definitely help you find the best volunteer programme in Africa for you.
Conservation volunteering in Africa is a popular option, from the rainforests of Madagascar to the open plains of Kenya.
We also prioritise the educational development of children. You can volunteer with children in Africa and work in childcare centres in countries like Ghana, Tanzania, and Kenya. Or, teach English or sports in local schools in Senegal. You can also help build important infrastructure like schools on our Building Projects in West and East Africa.
In each country we work in, we’ve identified the needs of the local communities and the challenges they face. Our volunteer placements in Africa all work toward supporting sustainable development and helping people overcome these challenges.
So, what are you waiting for? Join us as a volunteer in Africa today, and use your time and energy to become part of something bigger!
