Where we are based in Latin America and the Caribbean
Currently, we run a range of projects in many countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. In most of the countries, you can support children’s education and work in local disadvantaged schools. Then, we also have projects that work towards solving a need that is unique to a country.
In Mexico, you can help to protect endangered sea turtles and take part in wildlife research. Or, spend time in the stunning Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, helping to preserve unique wildlife species. You can also learn more about preserving forests and cave ecosystems in Costa Rica.
Meanwhile, in the Caribbean, you can volunteer in Belize or Jamaica. In Jamaica, many communities lack proper sanitation, so we build toilets. In Belize, you can take part in conservation activities surrounding the Belize Barrier Reef or focus on public health issues.
There are also many volunteer opportunities in South America. Participate in excavations and uncover ancient Incan and Wari ruins in Peru, or help raise awareness of human rights in Argentina.
Whatever you choose to do, you can be sure that you’ll become part of ongoing efforts to make a tangible difference in local communities.
