Whether you're reminiscing about past travels or currently exploring a new corner of the globe, we want to hear about your experience and see your best videos! Share your most captivating moments and inspire future adventurers.
Your video could be featured on our website, social media, and even our marketing materials, showcasing the incredible impact of our community to a global audience. Imagine your memories inspiring someone else to embark on their own life-changing experience!
Important Guidelines for Your Submissions:
- Consent is Crucial: If people are clearly identifiable in your videos or photos within your video, you must have their explicit consent before sharing.
- Ethical Storytelling: Please keep in mind our commitment to responsible travel and ethical representation. Your videos and audio should reflect respect for local cultures, communities, and wildlife. Refer to our ethical photography guide for further guidance.
- Quality & Clarity: While we value authentic content, please aim for clear audio and stable video where possible.
- Monthly Deadline: Submissions received by the end of each calendar month will be considered for that month's prize.
- Multiple Entries Encouraged: Feel free to submit multiple videos or audio stories each month for more chances to win!
- Prize Announcement: The winner will be contacted via their email address in the following month.
How to Enter:
Each month, we'll award £50 (or equivalent) to the submission that best tells a story, captures a key experience, or offers a unique glimpse into your time travelling with us.
Get Creative! Here are some ideas (but don't let this limit you!):
- Vlogs: Share highlights from your daily experiences, key moments, or overall reflections.
- Social Media Clips: Short, engaging video snippets showcasing specific activities, landscapes, or interactions.
- Recap Interviews: A short interview reflecting on your journey, key takeaways, or memorable moments.
- Spoken Stories: An audio recording alongside photos, sharing your experiences, favourite memories, or lessons learned.
- Video Montages: A collection of your best video clips set to music or with narration.

Terms and Conditions
By submitting your video to the Projects Abroad video contest, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Eligibility:
This contest is open only to Projects Abroad volunteers, interns, and alumni.
You must provide your full first name and last name when you submit your photos. This will be used to verify your eligibility.
Employees, contractors, and their immediate families of Projects Abroad are not eligible to participate.
Video Submission:
Submitted videos must be original works created by the entrant and must contain consent of people in the video.
Entrants grant Projects Abroad a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute the submitted videos for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing, promotional, and advertising materials related to Projects Abroad.
Entrants warrant that they own the copyright to the submitted videos and that the videos do not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
Entrants consent to being named and having their social media profile associated with their video if they are shared.
Release and Indemnity:
By submitting a video, entrants release and hold harmless Projects Abroad and its affiliates from any and all liability for any claims, damages, or injuries arising from the use of the submitted video.
Judging:
Winners will be chosen based on their storytelling, creativity and quality. The judges' decision is final and binding.
Prizes:
Prizes are as stated and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
Winners are responsible for any and all taxes associated with their prize.
Winners must have, or create, a valid PayPal account to receive their cash prize.
Where the winner's primary currency is not GBP, they will absorb any cost in kind for currency exchange, where required.
Rights Reserved:
Projects Abroad reserves the right to modify or cancel this contest at any time without prior notice.
Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in England & Wales.
