Projects Abroad is one of the leading international volunteer organisations. Since being founded in 1992, Projects Abroad has sent over 24,000 volunteers to over 24 different countries on five continents, currently at a rate of 4000 per year. Volunteers take part in a variety of worthwhile overseas placements working in partnership with local communities.
Projects Abroad in the Media
Our programmes and volunteers have featured in many publications including: The Times, The Sunday Express Magazine, Evening Standard, The Independent, The Independent Careers Magazines ("Fresh" and "You Can"), Newsweek and The Weekly News (Glasgow).
Our staff and volunteers have also given interviews on local and National radio and TV stations, including; BBC News 24 and BBC Radio Scotland.
As one of the most experienced and well-respected overseas voluntary organisations, we are always happy to provide interviews or information on any topics concerning volunteering abroad.
