Medicine & Healthcare High School Specials
On a Projects Abroad Medicine & Healthcare High School Special, you have the opportunity to spend time observing professional medical staff in hospitals, clinics and health centres. It's a unique opportunity to learn about medical practices in different countries and to enhance your own medical knowledge. It's also an excellent way to obtain valuable work experience and boost your CV or UCAS application.
As a volunteer, will shadow doctors and other medical staff throughout their day, who are more than happy to answer any questions you have or discuss different cases with you. You will also attend a variety of medical workshops and lectures, as well as learning basic medical skills from local staff. During your time off, you'll get to take part in social events, exciting weekend trips and cultural activities.
These High School Special projects are designed specifically for volunteers aged 15 to 18 and run on fixed dates. Travel and meet new people, explore a different culture, and help to make a positive impact where it's needed the most!
