Journalism High School Specials
A Projects Abroad Journalism High School Special allows volunteers to gain insight into the industry and find out more about how professional journalists work. It's an excellent way to obtain valuable work experience, learn new skills and boost your CV or UCAS application.
Working under the guidance of a local editor, you'll get to take part in a range of practical journalism activities. Depending on your placement, your work could involve writing features, interviewing local people, reviewing events and taking photographs. . During your time off, you'll get to take part in social events, exciting weekend trips and cultural activities.
These High School Special projects are designed specifically for volunteers aged 16 to 19 and run on fixed dates. Travel and meet new people, explore a different culture, and help to make a positive impact where it's needed the most!
