Veterinary Medicine & Animal Care Short-term Specials
Volunteers on Projects Abroad’s Veterinary Medicine & Animal Care Short-term Special projects work together to care for injured, abandoned or endangered animals. Whether you're preparing food and cleaning enclosures, or studying animal behavior, you'll provide a helping pair of hands for local staff.
These placements are ideal for those with a passion for animals. Your specific tasks will vary according to the placement you choose, but your efforts will go a long way to caring for furry and feathered creatures who need your help. During your time off, you'll get to take part in social events, exciting weekend trips and cultural activities.
These Short-term Special projects are designed specifically for volunteers aged 16 to 19 and run on fixed dates. Travel and meet new people, explore a different culture, and help to make a positive impact where it's needed the most!
