Sports Short-term Specials
Volunteers on Projects Abroad’s Sports Short-term Special projects work together to help nurture the athletic talent of the next generation. Whether you're teaching a specific sport like football or coaching children in a range of different physical activities, you'll be sharing your passion for sport with disadvantaged children who are eager to participate.
Our volunteers work alongside local coaches in clubs and community sports projects, helping children and teenagers to develop their skills and learn the values of teamwork, dedication and patience. You can take part in many aspects of sports coaching, from running practice sessions to refereeing matches. The aim is to get children involved in staying fit and having fun!
These Short-term Special projects are designed specifically for volunteers aged 16 to 19 and run on fixed dates. During your time off, you'll get to take part in social events, exciting weekend trips and cultural activities. Travel and meet new people, explore a different culture, and help to make a positive impact where it's needed the most!
