Animal Care in Argentina

This worthwhile project is ideal for anyone who enjoys working with animals and in the great outdoors. Volunteers work at an animal sanctuary that focuses on the care of a wide variety of animals that have been brought to the centre because of injuries or elimination of their natural habitat.

The project is based in Villa Rumipal (about 100km away from Cordoba). You will feed and care for the animals and have the chance to observe how some of the wilder animals are treated. You will also help with maintenance work at the centre.

The Short-term Special programme includes recreational activities in the evenings and at the weekend such as trips to the surrounding hills, a bonfire, or a games night.

Volunteers will be accommodated in a hostel at the sanctuary, in same-sex rooms with good facilities, including Internet access.

This placement is fully researched, safety audited and risk assessed in accordance with the British Standard BS8848 for the Adventure Travel Sector.
