Well Done to New College Nottingham on their Fundraising Efforts

Ian Birbeck, Group Trips Organiser at Projects Abroad, has recently visited New College to meet the students and their parents. The group from Nottingham are heading out to India in October where they will spend two weeks working in local hospitals and clinics on a healthcare project.

Projects Abroad fundraising cake

A big part of a group trip is getting the money together. The team at New College have had some great fundraising ideas. They have already done bag packing at a supermarket, as well as organising cake sales around the college. It was during one of these cake sales that the first ever Projects Abroad cake was raffled off.

This amazing bit of home baking looked tasty and topical, featuring a map of India as well as the New College and Projects Abroad logos. If it tastes half as good as it looks then Mary Berry will have to watch out! More fundraising plans include a Greek evening, curry evening and no doubt more cake sales. Good luck with all your fundraising efforts!

If you or your school are interested in going away, have a look at some of the options available on our Group Trips website www.projects-abroad-groups.co.uk.
