Calling all Law students, graduates, career-breakers or anyone interested in a career in Law or Human Rights. Law and Human Rights voluntary work placements with Projects Abroad give you the opportunity to really make a difference to other people’s lives and even work to change legislation. You can become part of a vital resource which provides legal services to businesses, community organisations or individuals. If you are interested in gaining work experience in Africa or Asia, why not consider volunteering on one of the following programmes: Law in China, Human Rights in South Africa and Law and Human Rights in Ghana, Mongolia and Togo.
Introducing three new Human Rights destinations in Africa! If you feel our current destinations for Human Rights placement don’t offer you enough choice, you should be pleased to hear we are setting up three new African destinations in Ethiopia, Morocco and Senegal. Now any French speaking volunteers can choose to work in Morocco, Senegal or Togo and any volunteers fluent in Amharic will go down a treat in Ethiopia!
Learn first-hand from our volunteers about the type of work you’ll be doing on our Law and Human Rights placements! We’ll take your skills and interests into consideration and do our best to find the perfect placement for you. Each placement has a different focus; from working on banking and business law China, business and commercial law in Ghana to educating refugees, prisoners and victims of HIV and Aids of their rights in South Africa. Although each volunteer’s experience will be different, you might like to read how other people have benefited from their voluntary work placement overseas by visiting our Testimonials & Volunteer Stories pages.
