The summer is nearly upon us and for those students with no plans, a two month summer break might seem like a large void in the year. We have just the projects to give you something worthwhile and adventurous to do whilst making some good friends and hopefully learning a thing or two about another culture along the way. Our 2 week specials are volunteering taster projects for students aged 16 – 19 and want to get a feel for travelling abroad, without the pressure and responsibility of 'going it alone'.
You can choose from a number of 2 weeks specials which run on set dates throughout the summer, including Care, Conservation, Culture and Community, Journalism, Law and Human Rights, Medicine and Healthcare, Sports and Veterinary Medicine.

Our Journalism placements aren't all about slaving away over a hot desk! We quite understand you might not want to spend your holidays stuck in an office, writing articles and having your grammar corrected, that's why we've added Journalism placements with a slightly different focus. For those interested in Media, we have a Photography project in Romania and Documentary project in Bolivia as well as our traditional Journalism placement in Romania. For more information, visit "2 week specials" page.
Impress your teachers at the start of term by brushing up on your language skills whilst volunteering abroad! A number of our 2 week specials have language tuition included in the itinerary. Learning some of the local language will not only be a useful skill to have for the future, but it will also help you whilst you are on your placement and whilst living with your host family. We offer language tuition on the following 2 week specials: Care and Arabic or French in Morocco, Care and French in Senegal and Spanish and Turtle Conservation in Mexico.
For those of you not fortunate enough to be aged between 16 and 19, you can still participate in a number of our projects for 2 weeks if you can't commit to longer.
