We are pleased to introduce our Teaching, Care and Medicine and Healthcare projects in our newest destination, and one of east Africa's most beautiful and diverse countries, Tanzania.

Tanzania really does have it all; as a volunteer you will be surrounded by culture, music, friendly people, stunning scenery and what's more, as English is widely spoken, there won't be any barriers between you and your host community. Tanzania's landscape also takes some beating – with Lake Victoria (Africa's largest lake), Lake Tanganyika (Africa's deepest lake, known for its unique species of fish), numerous beaches, the Serengeti National Park and Selous Game Reserve on your proverbial doorstep, you're not likely to be short of places to visit. You could even follow in Gary Barlow and friends' footsteps (not literally...that would be tricky) and have a go at reaching the summit of Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro.
Make a long-lasting impression on a Teaching, Care or Medicine and Healthcare project in Tanzania.
Speaking good English is key to getting a good job in business or in the tourist industry in Tanzania. By volunteering as an English teacher you have the opportunity to make a huge impact, not only through improving the English of students at the school where you work but also in helping to give many Tanzanian people more hope and opportunities for the future.
Located in and around the town of Arusha in northern Tanzania, our Care programmes offer volunteers the opportunity to work in an orphanage or care home with children aged from 0-14 years. Whilst projects can be challenging, the sense of fulfillment, knowing you have been an important part of a child's development and seeing the effects of your work first hand is indescribable.
As a Medicine & Healthcare volunteer in Tanzania you will have the opportunity to gain a wide range of medical and healthcare work experience in a variety of medical settings, very different to those you are used to in the Western world. Whilst you have to be prepared to see some shocking cases and try not to get emotionally involved with the patients, there is no doubt that working in such an eye opening environment will leave you with nothing but a truly unforgettable experience.
