Gap Year Concerns

Projects Abroad has been operating since 1992, so we have many years experience of working with gap year students; in fact most of our staff were once gap year volunteers themselves! We know it can be a difficult time – for all people involved. Gap-year students and their parents alike are often full of anxieties and concerns about what this year is going to have in store, and this can be a cause of friction and arguments.

In order to make your lives a little bit easier during this time, we have got our heads together and come out with a couple of guides, to help with your gap-year planning and to make you a bit more aware about gap-year safety. They are by no means comprehensive, but are intended to be used as a reference point, to get you started, and they may even give you a few good ideas along the way.
