Partnership in Enterprise

Projects Abroad believes that young people around the world have the energy and the enterprise to achieve success in many fields, including business. Our Partnership in Enterprise project is intended to bring together YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS and ENTERPRISE VOLUNTEERS from different countries and cultures into partnerships to create new businesses.

For full details please visit Partnership in Enterprise project website.

We are proud to be associated with Global Entrepreneurship Week.

ARE YOU BETWEEN 16 & 30 WITH AN ENTERPRISING IDEA? DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ENTREPRENEUR?

or

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE AN ENTERPRISE VOLUNTEER, WORKING WITH A YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR IN ANOTHER COUNTRY?

If you want to be an entrepreneur, please complete the ENTREPRENEUR FORM form below, enter our competition and, if you are successful, we will provide you with support.

When you have completed the form and submitted it, it will be checked and, unless it is unsuitable in some way (in which case we’ll let you know), it will go on to our list of Entrepreneurs looking for Enterprise Volunteer partners.

It will also be entered for a competition for financial support, to be judged by one of London’s finest and most successful entrepreneurs, Nick Wheeler of Charles Tyrwhitt.

If you would like to be an enterprise volunteer (fee £1995) and to work with a young entrepreneur from another country, then please go to our main APPLICATION FORM and, in the relevant sections, choose the country where you would like to work and choose “Enterprise Volunteer” from the project list. You will also have a chance to choose how long you would like to spend on the project – although ending your visit doesn’t have to mean ending your association with the new enterprise. In the “Extra Information” section, please say if you have any special preference as to the type of business and we will do our best to match you to the right entrepreneur.

Some opportunities already require Enterprise Volunteers:

  • Mariappam Ponraj has an organic farm in South India and wants to sell its products around the world; at the moment, it’s only a tiny farm but it has great potential.
Go to the Application Form and choose “Enterprise Volunteer” and “India”, and put “Organic Farm” in the Extra Information section.

  • Rama Kudolo has set up a football academy in Ghana and wants to advertise the players to clubs in Eastern Europe and beyond.
Go to the Application Form and choose “Enterprise Volunteer” and “Ghana”, and put “Football Academy” in the Extra Information section.

  • Fernando Rosenberg in southern Peru has a lodge in the rainforest with wonderful opportunities for tourists to visit, and he has an astonishing knowledge of the wild forest and the people who live there.
Go to the Application Form and choose “Enterprise Volunteer” and “Peru”, and put “Rainforest” in the Extra Information section.

We believe that Partnership in Enterprise is a new way forward for ambitious young entrepreneurs from around the world.
