What is a webinar?
A webinar is an online presentation or seminar where you can find out information and ask questions. If you can't make it to our information events in the UK, then you can get more information about Projects Abroad from the comfort of your own home.
All you need is a computer, and internet connection and headphones or speakers. You register in advance and we send you an email with log in details. On the day of the webinar, you simply click the link in your email and you will be automatically logged in to the webinar.
Format of a Webinar
A typical webinar follows the format of a short presentation by a member of Projects Abroad staff or an interview with a special guest. During this presentation you will have the chance to submit questions to our staff.
At the end of the presentation, we go through the questions, answering some of them live on air and responding to the rest using an instant messaging system. We also have staff on hand during all of these events so that you can call up and ask your question over the phone if you prefer.
If you miss a webinar then they are made available to watch on-demand the following day. You can also browse our on-demand archive to watch previous webinars.
We normally run one webinar per month and all of these are free to attend live and to watch on-demand.
